Brian Thomas of the Institute for Creation Research thinks that recent evidence for a higher sea level in earth’s past supports the idea of a global flood. He seems surprised that we now have solid proof of higher sea levels in the past, yet geologists have known this for many years. Click here to read the [...] [...more]

Algae may seem like a simple little plant, but God used it for a grand purpose. Without algae, we would not be able to breath. For more on this response to an Institute for Creation Research article, click here.

Brian Thomas of the Institute for Creation Research claims that feather-like fibers found on a non-therapod dinosaur damages the evolutionary claim that birds evolve from dinosaurs. Not true at all, when you think about it. Click here for the review.

The claim that soft tissue could not be preserved with slow and gradual sedimentation has been an argument used often by young earth creationists. It resurfaced again yesterday in the daily news feature about fossil octopi, at the Institute for Creation Research. Click here to see the rebuttal.

Does a fossil of a normally tropical turtle, found in the Arctic, damage the case for an old earth? YEC author Brian Thomas of the Institute for Creation Research thinks so. However, when you consider all the evidence, and not just half of it, there is no problem at all for old earth believers. Click here to read [...] [...more]

I’ve just posted a response to an ICR argument concerning Precambrian fossil footprints, which ICR uses to discredit evolution. When treated fairly and without emotion (which so many young earth arguments use), it does not discredit evolution at all…it merely makes it clearer. For progressive creationists, there is no issue either, as it only means [...] [...more]

For progressive creationists, there is no issue either, as it only means an adjustment in the timeline of the creation of the organisms that made the prints.
