The Institute for Creation Research is claiming that new stratigraphic data proves that an asteroid did not kill off the dinosaurs. Answers Magazine published an article by YEC Paul Taylor which tries to discredit the theory that the dinosaur extinction was caused by a meteorite impact. Answers Magazine published an article by YEC Paul Taylor which tries to discredit the theory that the dinosaur extinction was caused by a meteorite impact. The article contains three problems with the theory, all of which fail to provide any proof against the impact theory. To the contrary, when you do the math, a meteorite impact makes much more sense than his theory that the iridium in the K-T Boundary came from volcanoes. You can read my rebuttal here.
